As she was the Greek goddess of agriculture, she would like to see ripe fruits, beautiful vegetables, good harvest and of course her daughter, Persephoné (who had been kidnapped by Hades and Demeter got her back but while her daughter was away she neglected the fields and the plants, and there was winter for a long time; when she found her daughter, Demeter brought spring with her again)
