What are the 3 major causes of hunting accidents?

Though I can find no studies to back this up I was raised with the impression that opening weekends were always the most dangerous. The logic behind the statement was that alot of people new to hunting were always out early in the season and even experienced hunters were more excited and less vigil early on.
