What is the biblical difference between preach and teach?

Preaching, as translated from the Greek kerusso, refers to publicly "crying out" or "heralding." It is intended to loudly proclaim a message indiscriminately to whoever is in earshot.

Teaching on the other hand, involves assisting those who have responded to the "canvassing" of the preaching work and are now being taught either individually or in groups.
