Ask us states seceded after Lincoln asked them for troops?

After President Lincoln called for troops in April 1861 to suppress the rebellion, four additional Southern states seceded from the Union. These states were Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee, and North Carolina. Their decisions to secede were driven by a combination of factors, including states' rights, slavery, and opposition to what they perceived as federal overreach. This brought the total number of Confederate states to eleven.
