Mlep gles, also known as "mule deer," do not have kids; they typically give birth to fawns. Female mule deer usually have one or two fawns each spring after a gestation period of about 200 days. The fawns are born in the late spring or early summer and are dependent on their mothers for food and protection until they are old enough to be weaned.
