Who did Cronus over throw?

Cronus overthrew his father, Uranus, the primordial god of the sky. He did this with the help of his mother, Gaia, who provided him with a sickle to castrate Uranus, leading to his downfall. Cronus then became the ruler of the Titans until he was eventually overthrown by his own son, Zeus.
