How did colonists earn a living in Georgia?

Farmers got up before the sun rose and went to bed after the sun went down. They would work in the fields until slavery came to Georgia against James Edward Oglethrope's will. Merchants, blacksmiths etc... would work at their own paces because they didn't have to complete a handful of work. Life was very simple for the colonial Georgia settlers.
