Who is the man that predicted the September 11 terrorist attack?

Allegedly, Nostradamus, a French apothecary and seer, who was born in 1503 and died in 1566, predicted the 9/11 attacks in the future.

One of the verses from his book of predictions:

"Earthshaking fire from the center of the Earth

Will cause tremors around the New City.

Two great rocks will war for a long time,

Then Arethusa will redden a new river."

Earthshaking is thought to represent the conflict between the USA and terrorists or the tremors caused by the planes colliding.

New City is thought to mean New York City.

Two great rocks are believed to be the Twin Towers or the two planes colliding with the towers.

The last line is believed to represent the war between Allied Forces and the terrorists.
