Should you break up with your boyfriend over text?

Never break up with your boyfriend in a text its one of the things that they wont believe or they will go around and tell everyone they broke up with you and everyone will give you a hard time. And sometimes guys are sensitive and that's nothing you wanna get into. So the best way would probably be to break up with him face to face and if you cant see him any time soon and just cant wait to break up with him then call him but never text it. And be sure you tell him that you want to try and see if a friendship thing will work that way your totally kicking him out of your life and hes not that upset.
