How did the absolute rulers use the ideas of the enlightenment to better or change their countries?

There's no answer in which is needed. I asked this question because so far I need help with my work and my teacher won't help me at all with me work which is bull crap because I'm not super woman knowing everything so I really need help with this. Thank you!
