What plates are causing Mount Fuji to form?

Mount Fuji in Japan formed in several stages due to subduction at the convergence of three plates: the Pacific plate, Philippine plate and Eurasian plate. The last eruption was in 1707-1708, but any new eruption from the summit crater could add to the height of the volcano.
