What are the bugs for in twilight princess?

They're in different areas of Hyrule. I'll tell you where I got them but not exactly. I'll tell you the place but you have to find em cuz I don't remember very well. The ants are both in Kakariko Village- I think one is inside a broken house and the other one is in the cementary. The mantis are both on the Great bridge of Hylia- look around in the fiels before and after the bridge, I think. Both butterflies are in the field east of Castle Town- One is hard to reach. I think you need to use your boomerang. Both Phasmids (I just call em stick bug) are at the Bridge of Eldin. Both Dayflies are at the Gerudo Desert. Both Stag Beetles are in the field north of Hyrule Castle. Both Ladybugs are at the field south of Castle Town. Both Grasshoppers are in the field north of Kakariko Village-Look out for the giant pigs just shoot them with arrows until they're all dead before looking around. Both beetles are in the field in Faron Province. Both Pil bugs are near Kakariko Gorge (It seems that bugs really like Kakariko) Both Snails are in the Secret Grove-I remember finding one in a cave outside the castle but I think one is inside the castle. One dragonfly is in the Upper part of Zora's River and the othe one is near the mother and Child Isles below the waterfall. Hope this helps!
