Why does your puppy jump and bark when you say no?

Your puppy doesnt understand what you say but responds to how you say it, if you start yelling they think you are joining in on their game and will often started barking and jumping. Instead try a loud abrupt sound that gets your dogs attention, like a loud, deep,aggresive "ahh" when the took stops their behavior and turns to investigate the noise you made, praise them, soon they will associate the noise with meaning stop and look at me. If the puppy has done something wrong and you want to convey that try ignoring them, turn your back and cross your arms you would be amazed how upset they get, and immediatly follow you. If you dog doesnt know that the Word "no" means bad they wont understand what you want when you say it, and if you say it loud or with energy they will read it as a game, the more you yell the more they will react.
