Who was the elderly widowed prophetess in Jerusalem that saw Jesus as a baby?

ANNA. Anna was the prophetess who saw Jesus when he was presented in the temple by his parents. Anna belonged to the tribe of Asher. She became a widow after seven years of marriage to her husband. She was very old, around 84 years old when she saw Jesus in the temple.
