Peter primarily ministered in Jerusalem and throughout Judea after the Pentecost, where he played a key role in the early Christian church. He is also believed to have traveled to regions such as Samaria and possibly further afield to areas like Antioch and Asia Minor. Tradition holds that Peter later traveled to Rome, where he became a central figure in the establishment of the Christian community there and ultimately faced martyrdom.
