What does it mean when they say the devil is a lie?

Here is what The Bible has to say about the Devil.

According to John 8: 44 which reads: " You are from your father the Devil, and you want to do the desires of your father . That one was a murderer when he began, and he did not stand fast in the truth, because the truth is not in him. When he speaks the lie, he speaks according to his own disposition, because he is a liar and the father of lie."

According to Genesis 3: 4, Satan the Devil promised Eve that she will be like God if she listened to him. Well ! That did not happen. Did it?

According to Genesis 3: 16-19 Adam and Eve died, knowing what it is to suffer from pain in giving birth and struggling to put food on the table for their family, because the earth was cursed. Which proves that the Devil is a liar. Romans 5: 12 explains why our world is in such a mess, in these Words. " That is why, just as through one man sin (which means the lost of perfection ) entered into the world and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because they had all sinned.

According to Genesis 2: 17, God gave Adam the possibility to live forever, and the Devil's lie that has spread like a desease on mankind brought our world to what it is today.

Adam knew that if he did not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and bad, he would not have died. That command in Genesis 2: 17 would have made no sense if he was meant to grow old and die anyway.

Today the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one, according to 1 John 5: 19 and Revelation 12: 9 describes the wicked one as the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth".

1 John 5: 20 reads. " The Son of God has come, and he has given us insight ( mental perception; intellectual capacity ) so that we may gain knowledge of the one who is true. And we are in union with the one who is true, by means of his Son Jesus Christ.

There are only two influences. The Devil's influence and God's influence due to the knowledge that most humans have disowned so far, and are caught up in the Devil's lie.

God's purpose has not changed, which is everlasting life in a paradise for all those who choose to live up to His requirements.

Psalm 37: 29 reads: " The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it".

It means that mankind was misled, because the Devil slandered God, with the intend to damage God's reputation.

God's kingdom in the government that will undo all the harm that millnniums of human rule have done. It will provide: perfect health, peace and security, and a clean environment, the gift that was given to Adam and Eve that the Deyil's lie has deprived mankind from. Read Daniel 2: 44 ; Matthew 6: 9,10.

All humans have the opportunity to be influenced by the accurate knowledge from God's Word, the Bible. It is the way that God has chosen to communicate with mankind.
