The name Jesus first appeared in the King James Version revision of 1769, 241 years ago as an anglicized transcription of the Latin name Iesus (KJV of 1611) which is a translation of the Greek name Ieousus which is a transliteration of Yahusha (pronounced Yahoo-sha).
