Are jack jumper ants nocturnal

They are mainly diurnal, being largely predators with pretty good eyes. But they might be active at night in warm weather when there is food being collected, say from a large captured insect. It would not be a good idea to sit on a jack jumper nest, even in the dark. Also, their activities inside the dark of the nest carry on night or day.
