Why is it called Adidas?

Rudolf "Rudi" Dassler and Adolf "Adi" Dassler created the business and used Adolfs shortened name "Adi" and Rudolfs shortened name "Rudi" and added it to the first letters of their last name DAS therefore "Adi Di Das"
