At 6 weeks bunnies are pretty wide awake, but like all young, they require more sleep than adults and hence do snooze quite a lot.
I believe they sleep for about 6-8 hours. My bunny does anyways.

That is possible.

Rabbits sleep off-and-on during the day time and overnight. They don't sleep very deeply. Rabbits don't always close their eyes when they're sleeping, so it can be tricky to know if they're awake or not.
