Where does the Tropic of Cancer cross through large desserts and Lake Nasser?

The Tropic of Cancer crosses through the Sahara Desert, which is one of the largest deserts in the world, as well as Lake Nasser in Egypt. Lake Nasser is a vast artificial lake created by the construction of the Aswan High Dam on the Nile River. This geographic line is significant as it marks the northernmost point at which the sun can be directly overhead during the summer solstice.
