Is ABC a liberal national tv station?

That is what the USA's conservatives hold. In reality it is - by American standards - largely middle-of-the-road moderate. ABC usually tries not to antagonize its viewers or the sponsors that provide it with advertisement income. Especially Republican politicians however like to paint all major networks as 'enemies' in order to highlight their own political credibility towards their more radically right-wing constituents.

Viewed in a global perspective, the political views that Americans consider 'liberal' are seen in Western Europe as largely 'moderate to outright right wing' : the political spectrum in the US is seen there as way more to the right than that of Europe.
