When is the start of the next decade?

The next decade will begin on January 1, 2031, and end on December 31, 2040. Decades are defined as starting in a year that ends in "1" and concluding in a year that ends in "0." Therefore, while we are currently in the 2020s, the 2030s will not begin until 2031.
