Can you take your pet in a cage as hand luggage?

On some airlines you can do this. The carrier has to be of a size to tuck safely under your seat (cannot be in storage compartments above head level).

Individual airlines have different rules however, so you would need to talk to whichever airline you are planning to fly with before you book tickets.
