Can you install an electrical starter on model 31A-240-800 MTD snow blower?

Although I am not familiar with this particular model, I did look up a parts diagram and see that this is a smaller light duty unit with a 3-1/2 horse MTD engine. Usually these smaller engines do not offer an electric start.

In my experience with a larger Kawasaki snowmobile engine, even if there was an optional electric start, this is not a retro-fit option because substantial additional machining of the engine was required to mount a starter. Sorry.
