What does IBM for BIOS manufacturer stand for?

IBM stands for International Business Machines. They are located in Armonk, NY, and were the first to create the PC standard. Then other companies begin to copy the PC standard. That was ruled as legal in the lawsuit between IBM and Tandy Corporation (who then owned Radio Shack). The fact that someone asked this shows that IBM no longer dominates the PC world, when they are the ones who we should thank for PC compatibles.
