How do you bypass blocked web pages?

We know how aggravating it can be to see a "Do Not Enter" sign - it can leave you feeling frustrated and annoyed. However, blocks generally exist for a very good reason (to keep you safe, to keep the company safe, or possibly to keep your computer safe), and we don't recommend it.

If you attempt to bypass it, you will most likely be violating policy, which could lead to negative action being taken against you. Best to avoid that.

School ProxiesWhile questions like this one are asked a lot, school proxies are in place for very good reasons, and we can't tell you how to get around them. Since the computers are the property of the schools, giving out information that would help get around them would almost be like giving a little sister or brother permission to go into an older sibling's room. We're sure no one would want us to do that, so we don't give out information about getting around school proxies, either.

Generally your best method for getting around these restrictions is to use a proxy or tunnel and encrypt your traffic.
