What do you do if the guy you like is a friend of yours but he won't talk to you because of a bad rumor?

I'm having the SAME problem right now!!!! My friend Janelle told me about it... So what I'm doing is I'm just ignoring it, and anyone that talks about it, I tell them:

That's not nice. You don't know the truth, that is a roumer and you are a follower so you obviously need to tell other people.

& They may think your weird or retarded, just let it slide. Your real friends will back you up!!!

This is happening to me right now at school, Everyone is saying I like this guy that I don't and I just play along with it. I just say yeah I do like him go a problem?, Even though its not true people will not be expecting you to do it so they will proberly stop teasing you like they did for me!

What others said might be right , but I'll like to tell you that you shouldn't care for what people say because people don't care if it's right or wrong they only want to talk and talk and talk and spread rumors ,so don't care at all and enjoy your quality time with your friend.. hope by now the rumor is off and hope that i helped
