The serial number of Honda car audiOS is on a sticker fastened to the unit and also on documentation that came with the car when it was first sold. You have to remove the audio unit in order to read this number. From the serial number you can get the so-called radio code which is a number you must enter in order for the unit to operate, if it has anti-theft protection built in. On some never cars it is possible to retrieve this number from the unit itself or otherwise you can ask at the local dealers. Honda Motor Company also offers an identification service for the code at its international websites through what they call the Radio & Navigation System Micro-site.
