You like a girl in 6th grade but you are in 5th grade you are soposed to be in 6th butt you dont know if she likes you your friend told her you liked her and her eyes grew big and walked away does she?

It's really scarey for a girl when a boy likes them! Especially at 11 or 12 years old, so its safest to be friends without all the "likeing". That way, you can be with her a lot, but not have to worry that she's freaking out. Like you are already.

I know you like this girl more then others, so it's ok to be her best guy friend and for her to be your best girl friend, but don't try to be more. She's probably flattered even if she won't admit it, and if she DOES like you, she probably won't ever admit she does sinse she sounds so shy.
