Can you start a fire with toothpaste?

Yes, you can.

You need something metallic and shiny which is an inverted dome, like the bottom of a drink can.
Smear toothpaste on the bottom of the can, then position it at the sun, so the sun's rays are reflecting off the bottom, heating up the toothpaste and eventually starting a small fire.
