What software did Bill Gates create?

He created Microsoft Corporation (not sure if he had partners), and made the Windows operating system. At the time, operating systems were basically text editors with no graphics at all. Windows was a more user-friendly system, sporting graphics to help end users understand the computer. This was a huge success, and competitors soon imitated. This helped computers reach the popularity they have today.
