What is a math problem?

A math problem is any numerical challenge that you have to solve, written out in numbers or Words. For instance, if you want to know whether two 8-inch pizzas is a better deal than one 12-inch Pizza for the same price, or if you just want to know how many you will have if you take 3 whole Apples and 9 half-Apples to divide up among 12 kindergartners. A math problem could be as simple as 2 + 2 =, asking you to figure out what the answer is.
