Do travel agents want peoples business if all they need are airline tickets?

Travel agents are hurting in this economy. They are glad to take the business, even if their cut is a little lower because they are only finding you airline tickets. Sometimes they can get a really good deal, so it is worth it to the average flier to check with a travel agent before booking airline tickets elsewhere.
