Why so women travel in fancy cars to weddings and men just travel there on their own accord?

Well, it's not a written rule that the men can't do that as well, but here's a thought. The grooms usually arrive fairly early, along with the guests. Is it wise to hire a fancy car for the groom if not all the guests are there yet to see him arrive in it? The entrance of the bride is always more focussed on.
