Percentage of homosexuals in the US?

It depends on how you define "homosexuals." According to the Kinsey report (on the basis of interviews done in the US in the 1940's), something like 30 percent of men have had at least one homosexual experience to orgasm. Roughly one to two percent of the male population is "primarily or exclusively" homosexually oriented (Kinsey again). But that does not mean they've had any actual experience.
