What is the term for the application of culture knowledge to the task of living in an environment?

In all my undergraduate and graduate years of psychology, I do not recall ever seeing any specific terms used with sufficient frequency to warrant it being considered as a de facto or common/standard term for the idea you are expressing.

I think depending on the context of what you are writing there are a number of possible phrases, but I am unware of there being, at least in English, a precise and set term.

I would use, cultural expertise or possibly cultural capital. Socially adept is another possibility.

There really could be many.
