Static head is: The internal energy of a fluid due to the pressure exerted on the containing vessel. Static head remains the same regardless of volume. For each meter you raise the container, the water pressure is amplified by 9.804139432 kpa (kilopascals) At sea level, 1 meter head of water is approximately 10kpa, (atmospheric pressure is 100 kpa.)
