Are all five sided shapes pentagons?

If the they are plain figures ( 2 - dimensional), then they are pentagons.

Remember you Latin ; 'Penta' means five(5).

Pentagons can be regular ( all sides the same length ) , or irregular ( the sides are of different lengths).
