How long does it take for a 30 gallon fish tank to cycle?

After filling the tank and conditioning the water I like to give it a week or two till I stock it. Really it depends on the size of the tank, a 30 gallon can cycle in three to four days were a 75 gallon tank should be left to cycle for about two weeks
