Why does your 6month kitten crouch down and cry?

A 6 month female cat will crouch with her tail in the air and cry because she is in "season". She will do this for 1-2 weeks. Keep her indoors if you don't want her to become pregnant and get her neutered asap. You will notice that male cats will start to appear around the time this behaviour starts.
