What type of flower should you send your first love?

A rose, usually red but white and other colours are nice, I am a girl, I am assuming you are a boy so I am just saying I think it would be romantic if it was her favorite colour or if you don't know it then red, and it was real and it had no thorns though:) I just think that's sweet though xxx
