Did detective Ramirez die in the dark knight?

Anna Ramirez was not killed by Harvey Dent. She claimed that she was forced to work for Maroni, due to money in order to pay her mother's hospital bills. As Dent flipped his coin, it landed normal side up. Anna was spared her life and was just knocked into unconsciousness.
