The person who is "good" with the opposite gender. It is mostly referred to as boys, though. A boy is a "playa" when he can get a lot of girls. Therefore, the player in dating is the person who got the opposite gender from the start. It is sort of hard to explain since both of the people in the date can be players. It is usually boys, though.
