What is hajr al aswad?

The Black Stone pitched on the eastern wall of the Kaaba (Black Cubicle Building) in the city of Mecca. Muslims do not worship hajr-e-Aswad , they just revered it as it was revered by the Holy Prophet Muhammad. The customary circular rounds of Kaaba (tawwaf) starts and ends at Hajr-e-Aswad
