The Absorbance of Water is no intrinsic property of water itself, but it has to do with how water is transported from one area to another (Such as from on top of a surface to a paper towel)...I am assuming that you either want to measure 1) How much is being absorbed or 2) At what rate it is being absorbed You just need standard units of volume for water because that is what is being absorbed. Centimeters Cubed?
