Advantages and disadvantages of Shifting cultivation?

Advantage:

- More amount of sunlight reaches the ground.

- Environmentally friendly because it is organic farming.

- It is often a form of weed control.

- it can play a part in pest management.

- It may reduce the incidence of soil-borne diseases.

Disadvantage:-

- More practice of deforestation.

- loss of greenery.

- No enough food, medicine e.t.c.

- Not cost effective.

- Troublesome to move all around the time.
