No. Single sex schools are not bad. It is just that people who want to propagate agendas find it harder to do so when there are single-sex schools. There are some things that may be considered disadvantages such as not being exposed to as many differences. Some fear a promotion of stereotypes, though there is little evidence that is a valid fear.
