What were the fashions of 1999?

Fashions of 1999, from what I remember, were massive amount of hairclip (including the ever-popular butterfly clip!) and jewellery accessories. high waisted jeans, runner and tie-dyed t-shirts. Remember the baby blue eyeshadow girls?!

As for guys, it was a mushroom cut, high waisted jeans with massive sneakers and shirts tucked into pants...ew.
