Are mens thongs getting more popular?

Yes. For so many reasons. Comfort and support at the top. Consider the discomfort when riding a bike with traditional underwear with seams. Those seams dig right in. However, not the problem with thongs.

The whole reason I started wearing them was due to vasectomy issues. The Dr. said to buy support underwear. I ran right out and bought the standard support underwear. I though my eyeballs were going to pop out due to the squeeze of the underwear design. So, I tried a jock strap, which effectively worked but the straps were a pain in the butt, (literally). Thus, in comes the thong. Bada boom! Success with support and comfort.
